Your Role and Responsibilities
As a SEN Class Teacher, you will:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the complex SEMH needs of our pupils.
* Support the class team in creating enriching learning opportunities and fostering positive behaviors.
* Monitor and report on pupils' progress, collaborating with staff to meet individual needs.
* Supervise pupils during non-classroom activities, including extracurricular events and school trips.
* Build strong relationships with pupils to enhance interaction and drive positive learning outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Possess a strong educational background, ideally to degree level.
* Have previous successful teaching experience.
* Bring experience working with pupils with SEMH needs in an educational setting.
* Be skilled in behavior management techniques.
* Show a commitment to professional development and a willingness to learn.
* Be prepared to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check.
