Role: Senior Commercial Property Solicitor
Location: Chesterfield
Salary: £60,000 to £85,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
Contract: Permanent
We are partnering with a well-established law firm in Chesterfield to recruit a Senior Commercial Property Solicitor. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing and ambitious firm offering high-quality work, a supportive team environment and genuine long‑term progression for senior lawyers.
Opportunity
You will join an experienced Commercial Property team handling a broad and high‑quality caseload across a diverse client base including SMEs, developers, investors and high‑net‑worth individuals. The role offers real autonomy, the opportunity to build relationships with key clients and a strategic role in the continued growth of the department.
Responsibilities
* Managing a varied caseload of commercial property matters from instruction through to completion
* Advising on acquisitions, disposals, leases and landlord & tenant matters
* Acting for developers on site acquisitions and development projects
* Supporting more complex transactions and high‑value matters
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships
* Contributing to business development and networking activities
* Supporting and mentoring junior team members where appropriate
Qualifications
* Qualified Solicitor with strong experience in Commercial Property / Real Estate
* Ideally 5+ PQE (flexible for the right candidate)
* Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of property matters
* Commercially minded with a proactive approach to client service
* A team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment
* Interest in business development and growing a client base
