Job Summary:
We are a friendly family run business within the monumental masonry industry, established in 1987 and still growing. We pride ourselves in providing a personal and professional service to our clients.
We are seeking an Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dealing with bereaved families and various third parties such as councils and trade clients. You will be working in a busy main office within a small team helping to arrange memorials for clients whilst staying within the strict regulations of each burial authority.
Responsibilities:
- Liaising with clients and being their first point of contact for enquiries via telephone, email or face to face
- Producing quotes promptly and accurately.
- Processing of orders ensuring accuracy and confirming all details with clients.
- Liaising with suppliers and monitoring timely arrival of orders.
* Invoicing completed work
Qualifications/Skills:
- An empathetic manner, patience and strong communication skills are essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word - Excel is useful but not essential
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively and be quick to learn.
- Data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
- Flexible to the changing demands of the business.
- Experience within the funeral trade or monumental industry would be advantageous along with database experience, but is not essential as full training will be given.
