SEND Teaching Assistant Are you an experienced TA with a passion for working with children with complex needs and non-verbal communication? We are currently seeking a dedicated TA to work one-on-one with a child coming into reception class at primary school on the outskirts of Leigh. The child has complex needs which include Global Delay, the child is working at approx. age of 9 months old, challenging behaviour and nonverbal communication the child requires some personal care which involves nappy changing. This is a full-time, ongoing role, working 5 days a week, 8.30am- 3.30pm. with daily pay rates £90-99 depending on experience. As the TA for this child, you will be responsible for providing individualised support and guidance, utilising a variety of communication methods to help the child succeed in the classroom and beyond. You will be working closely with the child's teacher, as well as other professionals involved in their care. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with complex needs as well as a strong understanding of non-verbal communication methods. Additionally, you should have a positive attitude and be patient.
