ROLE OVERVIEW

PURPOSE OF JOB

To provide, implement and operate a comprehensive set of Tax Compliance and Regulatory Reporting services that meets the needs of JTC clients, under the supervision of the Associate Director/Manager within Jersey and other JTC offices.

MAIN RESPONSIBLITIES AND DUTIES

* Preparing and ensuring the accuracy of FATCA and CRS reporting submissions across multiple jurisdictions.
* Undertake FATCA/CRS entity classifications and supporting the business in the completion of self-certifications where required.
* Ensuring FATCA/CRS obligations are met for entities which are in the process of closing or being transferred out to another service provider.
* Awareness and adherence to contractual and statutory obligations under the Group's policies, procedures and guidelines, including the Group's core values and expected behaviours.
* Reviewing of processes and determining potential process improvements.
* Ensuring that internal procedures and controls are properly followed.
* Adhere to Risk & Associated Compliance procedures in relation to regulatory requirements and AML legislation.
* Adhere to CPD requirements in accordance with qualification level and in-house procedures.
* Adhere to the JTC core values and expected behaviours.
* Any other duties as deemed necessary by Management.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

* Educated to A-level standard or equivalent.
* Part qualified ACCA/ICAEW/ICAS/ATT/CTA or equivalent an advantage.
* Previous experience in a tax/regulatory reporting role.
* Proactive self-starter.
* High level of accuracy and excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to work to tight deadlines with multiple priorities.
* Collaborative team player.
