A leading Tier1 contractor based in Wales is seeking an experienced Document Controller to join their business. This is a excellent opportunity to join a family-owned business with an extensive background as a reputable contractor. The Document Controller will play a key part in the development and future of the business, reporting directly to the Information Systems Manager.
About the role of Document Controller
This Tier 1 contractor traditionally specialises in high spec commercial projects, across Industrial, Data Centres, NHS, Leisure, Retail & Residential new builds, refurbishments & extensions valuing up to £300M on a nationwide basis for private and framework clients. The role of Document Controller will oversee one project initially and based out their office in Cardiff, Wales
Responsibilities for Document Controller
* Provide support and thorough investigation throughout the Quality Assurance process
* Maintenance and management of relevant project files, providing training of systems and management of the CDE in line with the company process
* Assist site team with both digital and manual filling system
Requirements for Document Controller
* Knowledge of ISO9650, BS 1192 and PAS1192
* Prior experience using Microsoft Suite
* Previous experience working on similar value projects is desired as well as strong communication skills and attention to detail.
