Overview
Are you a passionate and experienced fire engineer eager to advance your career? Our client, a leading fire engineering consultancy known for innovative safety solutions, seeks a Senior Fire Engineer to join their team in London. You will develop fire strategies that enhance safety while preserving building aesthetics and functionality.
Responsibilities
Lead the development of fire strategies independently and collaboratively.
Review and interpret CFD and zone models.
Use Bluebeam for plan markups and produce detailed fire strategy documents from RIBA Stage 2 to As-Built, Gateway 1 to 3.
Present fire safety concepts to clients, authorities, and building control, acting as a trusted expert.
Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and best practices.
Requirements
Degree in fire engineering or related field with relevant experience.
Progress towards chartered status.
Experience with site visits and inspections during construction and for existing buildings.
Strong communication skills and customer focus.
Analytical skills and proficient report writing.
Knowledge of UK legislation and design guidance.
Full UK driving license.
