Interim Policy Manager / Principal Policy Officer – Local Plan South East England | Interim (6 months) A Local Authority in the Southeast is seeking an experienced Policy Manager or Principal Policy Officer on an interim basis for an initial 6‑month contract, with serious potential to extend. This role will play a key part in supporting the authority’s Local Plan programme, with a strong focus on five-year housing land supply, policy development, and the preparation of supporting topic papers and evidence base. Key requirements: Proven experience working in local authority planning policy Strong understanding of five-year housing land supply Experience producing topic papers, evidence gathering, and supporting Local Plans Ability to work autonomously and hit the ground running in an interim capacity Why apply?
