Used Car Sales Manager – Renault Exeter Salary: £45,000 | OTE up to £65,000 | Company Car At Vertu Renault Exeter, we are currently recruiting for an experienced Used Car Sales Manager to join our team at Renault Exeter. This is a key leadership role offering a basic salary of £45,000 with OTE up to £65,000, plus a company car and an excellent benefits package. As Used Car Sales Manager, you will take full responsibility for leading and managing a structured, compliant used car sales operation. You will oversee a team including Assistant Sales Managers, Sales Executives and support colleagues, providing hands‑on leadership through regular coaching, robust performance management and strong customer engagement. First‑ and second‑facing customer interaction will be central to your role. You will lead and support your team to maximise used vehicle sales, alongside finance, GAP insurance and value‑added products, while consistently delivering outstanding customer satisfaction. You will also manage and execute sales campaigns and promotions, driving performance whilst upholding the highest ethical and professional standards. About you: We are looking for a highly capable and experienced Sales Manager with a proven track record of success within the motor retail industry. You will be able to clearly demonstrate your ability to: Deliver and exceed used car sales targets Improve profitability, stock turn and operating efficiency Lead, motivate and develop high‑performing sales teams Strong leadership and people‑management skills are essential, as your primary focus will be enabling your team to achieve and exceed their business objectives.
