Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board
Physiotherapist
The closing date is 29 October 2025
This is an exciting opportunity for professional development and to implement service change within a supportive environment. We are looking for an innovative, enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our expanding Community Resource Team (CRT), delivering community services to adults in the Bridgend Locality.
The Community Resource Team is an integrated health and social care service which provides a range of short‑term interventions to people in their own homes to promote their independence. Working as part of a team the successful candidate will need to work flexibly and pro‑actively to deliver effective time‑limited Physiotherapy interventions to support people to remain independent in their own homes.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will hold a defined case load providing evidence‑based interventions to promote independence and quality of life.
Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential within this post. The successful candidate will need to plan and manage their time effectively, ensuring prioritisation and completion of both clinical and non‑clinical tasks, to ensure effective workload management and the ability to respond flexibly to the needs of the service. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential to this role.
Welsh Skills Desirable: This post is advertised as Welsh Desirable. This doesn't mean essential; whilst the candidate doesn't need to have skills in Welsh, we will consider it an advantage when short‑listing candidates. This isn't "fluency", just Speaking & Listening skills at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2) or above. Level 3 means basic conversations with patients about their everyday health. For more information, see 'Welsh Language Guidance' in the documents right at the bottom.
Cwm Taf Morgannwg/CRT is committed to providing professional supervision and supporting continuing Professional development.
