Klipboard (formerly Kerridge Commercial Systems) is becoming Klipboard. The Sales Representative - Business Development Representative role is part of our growing sales team and is based in the UK. Klipboard provides specialist software, services and support to deliver fully integrated trading and business management solutions to companies in the distributive trade. Our mission is to design and deliver high performance, integrated ERP solutions that enable our distributive trade customers to source effectively, stock efficiently, sell profitably and service competitively. We are setting up a new and exciting office in the Thorpe Park area of Leeds.
What will I be doing?
Reporting to and working side by side with Senior Account Managers, you’ll be the first point of contact for almost all new customers. You’ll be working in a fast-paced, rewarding environment and will be responsible for driving new business.
* You’ll engage across phone, email and social channels to break through the noise and book meetings for the team to close. This is mainly outbound, with a chance to work some warm leads generated by inbound marketing.
* Initially you’ll work from our established sales playbook for outbound prospecting, and over time you’ll develop your own approach to enhance and evolve your sales prospecting skills.
Qualifications
* A reference from a former sales manager who’s willing to chat with us
* Experience using a CRM (preferably Hubspot)
* 1-year new business SaaS sales experience (outbound)
* A fearless phone mentality (you’ll be making lots of calls every day)
