Flt driver

Our client is seeking a FLT Driver who has Yard Operative experience and is happy to work ouside to join their dynamic and busy team.

Job Objectives

* Provide essential support to the daily operations of the company, adhering to company policies, procedures, and team objectives.
* Assist with the smooth running of the Operations and Yard departments.
* Possession of a valid forklift licence is mandatory.

Operational Duties (including, but not limited to): Forklift Truck Driver

* Attend the daily 7:30am Toolbox Talk.
* Maintain a clean and safe yard, minimising all risks and promptly reporting any concerns verbally and via the Near Miss and Damages procedures to the Operations Management team.
* Conduct regular servicing, inspections, and maintenance of all equipment.
* Undertake any other duties within the scope of the role as directed by line management.
* Prepare equipment for assignments as requested by Operations Management.
* Pick equipment accurately according to load lists.
* Load and unload equipment from various vehicles, including counterbalance forklifts and telehandlers.
* Secure loads to trailers and kit to stillages using ratchet straps.
1. Ensure trailers are strapped in compliance with VOSA requirements.
