This Maintenance Engineering Team Leader position offers the chance to shape how maintenance is delivered on shift, and the opportunity to drive continuous improvement and new technology on site. You will lead a small, skilled team, while staying on the tools and remaining close to the action.
Working a Panama shift pattern on 12 hour days and nights, you will play a key role in keeping a modern, high volume FMCG site running smoothly and efficiently.

As a Maintenance Engineering Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:
Leading, motivating and developing a small team of Maintenance Engineers on shift
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and improve reliability
Responding quickly and safely to breakdowns to keep production running
Completing fault finding, repairs, testing and start up checks on a range of production equipment
Ensuring engineering work is completed to a high standard, in line with safety, hygiene and compliance requirements
Supporting continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance equipment performance and maintenance processes
As a Maintenance Engineering Team Leader, your experience will include:
Experience leading or supervising others
Hands on, multi skilled maintenance engineering within FMCG or similar
Strong electrical and mechanical fault finding skills, ideally including hydraulics, pneumatics and inverter driven systems
Relevant technical qualifications in either mechanical or electrical engineering, such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, ideally gained via a recognised time served apprenticeship
Experience of planned preventative maintenance and contributing to PPM development or continuous improvement
