About the Role
This position provides an excellent opportunity to join a specialised Environment & Safety team, supporting the delivery of accurate reporting and a high‑quality service to clients across the UK. Initially a 12‑week temporary role, it is intended to become permanent for the right individual.
You will be working closely with project and operations teams to compile reports, manage data, support workflow, and help maintain clear communication between office staff and field teams. The role is well‑suited to someone organised, detail‑focused, and eager to learn new technical skills.
This role is fully on site.
Key Responsibilities
* Compile, format, and issue accurate client reports within set timescales.
* Learn how CAD plans are created and used (training provided).
* Monitor, interpret, and update data from CAD plans using spreadsheets.
* Pass information to site staff and process incoming site paperwork.
* Produce accurate site plans and collate final reports following approval from the Project Manager.
* Issue reports to clients and update client databases where required.
* Maintain internal works trackers to ensure progress is visible and deadlines are met.
* Provide clear, timely email communication to colleagues, clients, and site contacts.
* Book works with clients and manage scheduling requirements.
* Maintain strong working relationships internally and externally.
* Support the office team to ensure all reports are issued efficiently and to a high standard.
* Contribute to improving report turnaround times and achieving wider business objectives.
* Ensure all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
* Strong organisational skills with a structured approach to tasks.
* 1 year Administration experience (Preferred)
* Confidence in learning new systems, processes, and technical tools.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; comfortable with Word, Outlook and general IT applications.
* High attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
Desirable:
* Experience with Sage and invoicing processes.
* Previous experience in a similar administrative or office‑based role.
* Familiarity with Visio, AutoCAD, or NanoCAD, or a willingness to learn.
Training Provided:
* CAD software (AutoCAD, NanoCAD)
* Internal systems and processes
* Health & Safety modules relevant to the role
