We're looking for a part-time Catering Assistant to join our friendly and hardworking catering team in Newton Abbot. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a busy, customer-focused environment and takes pride in delivering excellent service.
🧑🍳 Shift Pattern:
* Sunday: 08:30 - 18:00
* Monday: 12:00 - 18:00
* Tuesday: 12:00 - 18:00
* Wednesday: 08:30 - 18:00
* Weekend work is required as part of the regular rota.
* Flexibility to cover other days due to staff sickness or holiday cover is essential.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with food preparation and service
* Set up and clear down dining and service areas
* Support hospitality and snack service
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
* Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team
✅ What We're Looking For:
* Previous catering or food service experience (preferred but not essential)
* A positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Flexibility to work weekends and provide cover when needed
