About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Primary Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and welcoming primary school in Sheffield. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to support pupils’ learning, development, and wellbeing across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

Key Responsibilities
* Support teaching and learning in the classroom under the direction of the class teacher
* Deliver small group interventions and targeted support sessions
* Assist pupils with varying learning needs, including SEND support where required
* Help create a safe, engaging, and stimulating classroom environment
* Support behaviour management and promote positive relationships
* Prepare classroom resources and assist with administrative tasks
* Contribute to pupils’ social and emotional development
* Supervise pupils during breaktimes, trips, and school activities when necessary
Requirements
* Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
* Previous experience working within a primary school setting
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* A patient, caring, and proactive approach
* Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
* GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above) preferred
