Job Title: Learning Support Assistant Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Hazel Grove Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £90 - £100 Per day Job Duties: Provide support to students with special educational needs in a classroom setting Assist teachers in implementing individualised learning plans Help students with tasks such as reading, writing, and understanding instructions Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers Support students with emotional and behavioural difficulties Required Qualifications: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Experience working with children or young people Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team Education: Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Experience: Previous experience working with children or young people Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of special educational needs and inclusive education practises Ability to follow instructions and work independently Good organisational skills Patience and empathy towards students Preferred Qualifications: Additional qualifications in special education or related field First Aid certification Working Conditions: Work in a classroom setting Potential exposure to challenging behaviour Regular interaction with students, teachers, and parents Full-time hours with occasional overtime required All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
