The Opportunity
This is an exceptional opportunity for an accomplished leader within the fashion or luxury sector. The role is well suited to current Managing Directors seeking a fresh challenge, as well as experienced Sales, Retail, or Commercial Directors ready to take the next step into full business leadership. The Managing Director will shape and deliver the company’s strategic vision, drive profitability, and champion brand excellence across markets.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a clear growth strategy aligned with the brand’s premium positioning.
* Lead, inspire, and manage cross-functional teams across retail, e-commerce, wholesale, product, and marketing.
* Strengthen brand presence in key markets through commercial partnerships and channel optimisation.
* Drive sales and margin improvement through effective pricing, range planning, and cost management.
* Oversee financial performance, reporting, and governance in partnership with investors and the finance team.
* Foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and excellence befitting a luxury environment.
Experience and Skills
* Proven senior leadership experience within fashion, luxury goods, or premium retail.
* Either an established Managing Director or a senior commercial, sales, or retail leader ready for a step up.
* Track record of delivering strong commercial results and brand growth both in the UK and internationally.
* Deep understanding of customer experience, brand storytelling, and omni-channel retail.
* Strategic thinker with the ability to lead hands-on in a dynamic and entrepreneurial setting.
