We're looking for a financial professional to join us as a Finance Officer and to support ourfinancial team.
Reporting to the Purchase Ledger Supervisor youll be part of a team responsible for providing an effective efficient expenditure management service. Youll ensure that all relevant financial controls are maintained, and correct procedures followed as well as developing and maintaining good professional working relationships with customers and partners. Youll have the opportunity to deliver a customer-focused service working as part of a team to meet the overall plan objectives.
Please note, this role is being offered on aFixed Term Contractuntil 31st of January 2026, working 35 hours a week. Youll be based inBuilding 800, Sittingbournewith the option for working in a hybrid way when appropriate and as agreed with your manager.
What you'll have
Experience of working in the purchase ledger team of a medium-sized organisation (essential)
Experience of in using P2P systems, knowledge of Sun Accounts (essential)
Knowledge of Council Tax, Utilities and Service Charges (desirable)
5 GCSE passes at Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent) including English and Maths (essential)
