Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for your next rewarding opportunity in SEND education?
MILK Education are currently working with a range of specialist SEND schools across Bury who are seeking confident, experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistants to support pupils with a variety of additional needs.
This is a fantastic opportunity for practitioners who are passionate about making a real difference and already have experience working in education or SEND settings.
The Role:
* Supporting students with a range of additional needs (SEN/SEMH/ASC) on a 1:1 and small group basis
* Assisting the class teacher with learning activities and behaviour support
* Helping to create a structured, safe and engaging learning environment
* Supporting pupils to develop both academically and socially
* Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and other support staff
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant (essential)
* Experience within SEND schools or supporting additional needs (desirable)
* Strong behaviour management and communication skills
* A calm, patient and resilient approach
* A genuine commitment to supporting children with additional needs
