About The Role
As a Deputy Home Manager, you’ll ensure the level of clinical care goes beyond professional standards and regulatory requirements. This includes providing specialist nursing support and advice, taking responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager’s absence, and supervising/coaching colleagues to deliver a service that shows empathy for resident issues.
About You
HC-One is looking for a Deputy Home Manager with a valid NMC Pin, knowledge of National Standards, and the NMC code of practice. A background in person-centred care planning within a care home is needed. You should have brilliant, positive energy and the ability to get along with people. You’ll be a great mentor who can manage time effectively and keep meaningful records, and when communicating with residents or co-workers you’ll be considerate and kind.
You’ll value kindness above all, as it drives every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Our residents are people with their own stories, and joining HC-One offers a wonderful opportunity to give back to them.
Safeguarding
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You should recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect and know what to do if concerns arise. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and undertake additional training in related areas. You should be able to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
