About the role:
As a Void Supervisor working in partnership with Lewes District Council (Homes First), your role involves managing all aspects of void property works. You will be liaising with client surveyors to assess properties through site visits and discussions, determining the scope of required works. Following this, you compile a detailed schedule of works using the Maintenance and Construction Management (MCM) system, covering everything from minor repairs to full refurbishments.
Working to tight turn arounds times you will oversee the works from start to completion, coordinating directly with operatives and subcontractors to ensure high standards and targets are met. Regular inspections are carried out to monitor progress and quality, culminating in a joint final inspection with the client to resolve any outstanding issues before handover.
Once approved, you complete the invoicing process, ensuring accurate cost recording. You are also responsible for regular vehicle checks to ensure compliance and safety. Health and safety are a key focus, with routine site visits to ensure all operatives work safely and in line with regulations. Using Workday, you manage operatives, allocating tasks and resolving issues to maintain workflow efficiency.
