The Role:
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive our expansion in the defence industry. In this role, you will be pivotal in winning new business and expanding our portfolio with existing customers. Youll work closely with our Sales Team, leveraging your engineering expertise to communicate complex projects effectively and build lasting relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and secure new business opportunities within the defence industry.
Expand and deepen relationships with our current customer base.
Understand and communicate intricate engineering projects, ensuring alignment between client needs and our technical capabilities.
Actively engage in customer visits to foster strong, lasting partnerships.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
A Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical information into accessible business insights.
Desired Experience:
A minimum of 5 years' experience in business development or technical sales.
A background in the defence industry would be highly advantageous.
Working Pattern:
Based at our Havant, Hampshire office with an expectation to be on-site the majority of the time.
Customer visits are actively encouraged and supported.
