Our client is expanding their team and is seeking a Maritime Co-ordinator with experience in the shipping or wider maritime industry. An understanding of port regulations, tides or the geographic landscape of ports around the UK would therefore be advantageous. This operational role is key to ensuring the smooth running of services and offers an excellent opportunity to work within a specialist environment.
The Role
* Responding to daily client requests and allocating work to agreed schedules
* Monitoring progress and maintaining clear communication with clients and internal teams
* Providing an on-call service to handle emergencies or unexpected issues
* Producing regular activity reports
About You
* Background in shipping or maritime operations essential
* Strong administrative and IT skills
* Able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
* Flexible and willing to provide on-call support as part of a rota
