Responsibilities
1. Liaise with management regarding recruitment requirements and advertise roles on various platforms.
2. Maintain and file application forms.
3. Answer employment inquiries from the public.
4. Assist in the selection process, including:
1. Short-listing candidates.
2. Arranging interviews with short-listed candidates.
3. Interviewing candidates.
4. Securing references as necessary.
5. Notifying unsuccessful candidates in writing.
6. Issuing appointment letters and contracts to successful candidates.
7. Completing right to work checks.
8. Updating Time & Attendance system with new start details.
9. Providing management with information on manpower issues.
10. Building and maintaining relationships with recruitment agencies and negotiating rates.
5. Provide advice and guidance to managers on employment law and good business practices.
6. Issue and review employee contracts as necessary.
7. Ensure employee handbooks are up to date with current UK employment legislation and in-house practices.
8. Implement and maintain company policies and procedures in line with UK legislation.
9. Liaise with payroll to ensure administration for new starts and terminations is prompt.
