Job Description
Wood is seeking a Global Owner of Production Optimisation Consultancy to join our Intelligent Assets team within our Digital Consulting Business Unit. The role involves developing and growing a new service line focused on supporting clients with Production Optimisation across their existing and aging assets.
This position is open worldwide and can be based in any of Wood’s main offices in the UK, Europe, or the Middle East. Relocation will be considered for the right candidate.
The Role
Wood aims to establish a new service offering to help oil and gas companies improve production and maximize returns on assets. We seek a dynamic leader to develop this service globally.
The responsibilities include identifying opportunities to enhance production, collaborating with clients to build cases for action, and driving sales of production improvement services. You will develop processes to increase throughput, reduce energy use and emissions, and cut costs, leading their implementation within Wood.
Candidates should have experience managing production at operating assets in the oil and gas industry and engaging directly with clients. Strong leadership and sales skills are essential.
Reporting to a Director-level executive, you will help position Wood as a leader in production performance improvement.

Responsibilities
* Develop a production improvement process based on best practices
* Lead client engagement and sales efforts for production services
* Identify opportunities and build cases for action at client facilities
* Foster client loyalty and drive business growth
* Ensure delivery of projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards
* Meet sales and utilization targets
* Forecast and report on business performance
* Recruit and manage the production optimisation team as the service grows
