Norfolk & Suffolk Plant is looking for an experienced Plant Mechanic to join our team in Beccles. This permanent role suits a hands-on professional who thrives in a fast-moving, high-demand plant hire environment.
You’ll work on servicing and repairing a range of plant machinery across multiple brands, both in the depot workshop and onsite. Working closely with the Depot Manager and rental team, you’ll be key to delivering quality, fast turnaround, and keeping projects on track.

What you’ll do:
* Maintain and service multi-brand plant machinery
* Carry out pre-delivery inspections
* Complete job cards and clock cards accurately
* Liaise directly with the Depot Manager on jobs and schedules
* Support reactive and planned maintenance
What we’re looking for:
* Experience in a similar plant or construction mechanic role
* Ability to work independently and under pressure
* Team-oriented, flexible, and safety-conscious
* Own tools essential
