Your Key Responsibilities
7. Assess, review and progress plans for children in need, including those accessing short breaks
8. Respond to safeguarding concerns in line with statutory duties
9. Manage an independent caseload, ensuring timely and effective decision making
10. Produce high‑quality assessments, reports and evidence‑based plans
11. Build purposeful relationships with children, families and partners to drive positive outcomes
For this role you will need
12. Social Work qualification and Social Work England registration
13. Post-qualifying experience in children’s social care, ideally within disability or CIN
14. Strong knowledge of Children’s Social Care legislation and care planning processes
15. Excellent communication, analytical and report‑writing skills
