Job Title: Area Sales Manager
Salary: £35,000 – £38,000 Basic (£50,000 – £60,000 OTE)

A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Area Sales Manager to join a growing business within the material handling sector. Covering a defined territory, you’ll be responsible for developing new business, managing existing accounts, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
8. Develop and grow sales within a designated territory covering Birmingham and Coventry.
9. Identify and secure new business opportunities across industrial, manufacturing, logistics and warehousing sectors.
10. Manage the full sales process from prospecting through to negotiation and close.
11. Build strong relationships with both new and existing customers.
12. Promote a range of material handling equipment solutions.
13. Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurately update CRM records.
14. Work closely with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and account management.
15. Achieve and exceed territory sales targets.
The Successful Candidate:
16. Proven B2B sales experience, ideally within material handling, plant hire, industrial equipment or a related sector.
17. Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
18. Experience managing a territory and developing new business opportunities.
19. Confident building long-term customer relationships.
20. Full UK driving licence.
21. Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
22. Must live within the Birmingham/Coventry territory.
