Training Delivery Manager
Location: Cambridge
Monday to Friday
Salary: £29,873 to £30,500
Contract: Full Time - Permanent
Make a difference by leading high-quality training that saves lives. This role leads and develops a team of Trainers and is responsible for the effective delivery of training programmes, maintaining high standards, and driving continuous improvement across the region.
Responsibilities
* Lead, manage, and support a team, including recruitment, development, performance management, and handling day-to-day issues
* Embed a strong performance culture, ensuring regular 1-1s, performance reviews (PDRs), and team meetings are conducted and documented
* Coordinate and deliver high-quality training courses by managing resources, venues, logistics, transport, and accommodation
* Ensure all training meets organisational standards, statutory requirements, and health & safety regulations
* Act as the key local contact for training delivery, resolving issues and liaising with customers and internal stakeholders
* Drive business performance by meeting budgets, targets, and contributing to business planning
* Produce regular performance reports and identify opportunities for improvement
* Work collaboratively with management to enhance course quality, customer confidence, and operational efficiency
* Ensure excellent customer satisfaction, including managing feedback, complaints, and overall delegate experience
* Promote and uphold the values, mission, and vision of St John Ambulance

* Flexible and able to work unsociable hours when required
