Job Title: Mobile Maintenance Electrician Location: Milton Keynes & Daventry Pay Range/details: £40,111.36 per annum (salary including standby allowance) Contract Type: Permanent Omega are supporting a leading facilities management provider in the recruitment of an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join the team to work on a leading supermarket contract at their distribution sites. The role will involve maintaining and repairing a range of electrical, mechanical plant and equipment at distribution sites, undertaking regular reactive, PPMs and minor repairs. Key Responsibilities - Mobile Maintenance Electrician Complete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately. Respond promptly and positively to service call requests from the Helpdesk and to assess the requirements of the job and carry out repairs as and where necessary. Prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and response times. Deliver reactive and planned fire alarm system maintenance. Conduct emergency lighting tests and repairs. Identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Line Manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacement. Ensure that compliance documentation is always completed and up to date Advise the on-site customer (manager) of any repair and maintenance issues that are likely to affect the smooth running of the site. Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm (On call every second week) Qualifications & Requirements - Mobile Maintenance Electrician NVQ Level 3/City and guilds 236 Part 1 2 or equivalent in electrical installation or maintenance.
