We are working with a high-performing "Outstanding" school in Harrow to find an articulate and logical Computer Science ECT for a March start. This full-time, permanent role is ideal for a teacher who wants to start their career in an environment where technology and digital literacy are treated as vital pillars of the curriculum.
About the School Located in a pleasant residential area of Harrow, this school is celebrated for its inclusive culture and consistently high results in STEM subjects. The Computer Science department is a collaborative team that prides itself on its modern computing labs and engagement with the latest software and hardware trends. For an ECT, the school offers a tranquil working environment and a very structured path towards completing their induction. The school’s ethos is built on high aspirations, ensuring that every student is encouraged to develop the problem-solving skills necessary for a digital future.
The Role The teacher will deliver Computer Science across Key Stages 3 and 4. The focus is on fostering coding confidence and computational thinking in younger years, leading up to rigorous GCSE preparation. Without the pressure of KS5 teaching, the successful candidate can dedicate their energy to creating immersive lessons—from Python programming to cybersecurity—and building meaningful rapport with their classes through various tech projects and coding clubs.
