Job Description
This is a fixed-term contract until December 2026.
The L&D Specialist leads the design and delivery of people-focused L&D projects. Projects within the scope of this role include strengthening line management and leadership capability as well as other enabling skills learning initiatives. Working across the organisation and in collaboration with both the Learning & Development team and wider Division leadership, the role ensures leaders, managers, and employees have access to high-quality development resources that build capability, consistency, and effective performance.
Your core responsibilities
* Support the development, implementation, and delivery of annual Learning & Development (L&D) plans.
* Research external benchmarks and best practice to enhance L&D initiatives, sharing insights across the People & Culture community.
* Design and deliver people-focused L&D projects aligned to organisational business plans.
* Collaborate closely with the People Department and L&D team to deliver shared objectives and people-related projects.
* Provide high-quality management information, including collating, analysing, interpreting, and presenting people data for L&D initiatives and operations.
* Support the embedding of organisational culture and behaviours through research-led initiatives across divisions and programmes.
* Contribute to change management planning, supporting stakeholder engagement and effective communication.
* Drive continuous improvement of L&D processes and support the development and implementation of L&D policies.
* Facilitate and support focus groups, think tanks, and engagement sessions.
* Contribute to the talent development agenda, including career pathways, competency frameworks (technical and non-technical), early careers initiatives, and skills development programmes.
Qualifications
* Degree in HR Management with a minimum of CIPD Level 5
* Demonstrable experience in designing, implementing, and delivering Learning & Development initiatives aligned to organisational priorities.
* Strong ability to collaborate and engage stakeholders across a matrixed organisation to support people, culture, and change initiatives.
* Capability to use people data, insights, and best practice to inform decisions, evaluate impact, and drive continuous improvement.
