Location: Hammersmith, London
Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 DOE
Hours: Full-time, Office-based | Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm | Alternate Saturdays, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Administrator to join their friendly and professional team in Hammersmith.

The Role
As a Bookkeeper/Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations and administrative functions of the business. You will manage bookkeeping duties, assist with financial reporting, and provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the lettings and property management team.
Key Responsibilities
 * Prepare monthly management accounts and assist with financial reporting
 * Manage accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and bank reconciliations
 * Handle utility bills, investigate disputes, and liaise with suppliers and brokers
 * Maintain bill logs, filing systems, and ensure accurate record-keeping
 * Manage council tax and utility correspondence for the property portfolio
 * Assist with tenants’ invoices, landlords’ charges, and rent reconciliations
 * Support the preparation of VAT returns and assist during audits
 * Prepare financial data for budgeting and forecasting
 * Generate reports and maintain accurate financial documentation
 * Provide general administrative support to the lettings team
About You
 * AAT-qualified or ACCA part-qualified preferred (or equivalent experience)
 * A degree in Economics or Finance is considered advantageous
 * Minimum 2 years’ bookkeeping experience, ideally within property or lettings
 * Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes
 * Proficiency in accounting software (ideally Xero) and Microsoft Excel
 * Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
 * Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
 * Strong interpersonal and communication skills
