Job summary
Were looking for a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to become an integral part of our multidisciplinary primary care team. Working under the guidance of the Nurse Manager, you'll play a vital role in supporting high quality patient care by delivering safe, effective venepuncture services and assisting the nursing team when required.
This is a role where your contribution truly matters. Youll be supported with access to clinical supervision, ongoing guidance, and a named point of contact within the organisation to ensure you feel confident and equipped in your daytoday work.
Hours: 18 per week
Wednesday: 8:00-14:00
Thursday: 8:00-14:00
Friday: 8:00-14:00
Main duties of the job
As our phlebotomist, you will:
* Carry out venepuncture for our entitled patient population in line with practice protocols
* Provide flexible support to the nursing team as needed
* Work collaboratively within a friendly, supportive general practice environment
* Maintain high standards of patient care, safety, and professionalism at all times

* Performing venepuncture safely and efficiently
* Labelling, packaging, and storing samples correctly
* Ensuring specimens are logged accurately and dispatched promptly
