Overview
We’re looking for a Commercial Manager with strong experience in fresh produce to take ownership of customer relationships, supply planning, and day‑to‑day commercial delivery. You’ll be the key link between growers, service providers, and retail/wholesale customers—ensuring consistent availability, excellent service, and commercially sound decision‑making in a fast‑moving, highly seasonal environment.
Duties
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Leading key customer accounts with a strong focus on service excellence, communication, and commercial performance.
Working closely with customers to understand programmes, forecasts, and weekly volume requirements.
Translating customer demand into clear, executable supply plans across multiple origins and grower bases.
Negotiating pricing, programmes, and service terms with growers, exporters, and logistics partners to secure competitive and reliable supply.
Driving the evaluation of costs, margins, and supply chain performance to inform high‑impact commercial decisions, while assessing full P&L implications to ensure sustainable profitability and strategic alignment.
Identifying, targeting, and onboarding new customers to expand commercial reach and strengthen the overall customer portfolio.

Proven ability to manage customer expectations and communicate confidently in a dynamic, fast‑moving environment.
Experience collaborating with growers, exporters, and logistics partners across multiple countries and supply origins.
Strong analytical capability with the skill to interpret data, forecasts, and cost models to support commercial judgement.
A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset with excellent relationship‑building and stakeholder‑management skills.
A track record of developing new customer relationships and contributing to commercial growth.
Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel.

Qualifications
