The role of a Territory Sales Consultant is an excellent opportunity to drive the sales and product awareness of our products within assigned B&Q stores.

This position is ideal for someone with retail sales or service experience who has coached or mentored others. We offer an exciting career with ongoing support and development, an attractive salary, uncapped sales bonus, company car, lunch allowance, and a pension scheme.


Qualifications

* Previous experience in customer service, sales, marketing, or merchandising
* Experience coaching or mentoring others is an advantage
* Retail experience
* Ability to work a flexible schedule, including 2 Saturdays a month and bank holidays
* Valid driver’s license required

Responsibilities

This position aims to grow top-line sales at assigned B&Q stores within the geographic territory through sales and marketing programs, training, service, and merchandising activities. The store count ranges from 5 to 10 stores, with an average of 7 stores per territory.

As a Territory Sales Consultant, your main tasks will include:

* Building strong relationships with store associates and management
* Conducting product knowledge training sessions for store teams, including features, benefits, and selling skills, possibly with product demos
* Promoting the brand and product strengths to store teams and consumers
* Identifying opportunities for upselling and resource maximization at store level
* Maintaining store signage, merchandising displays, and color samples
* Using the CRM system to document sales calls and visits
* Organizing promotional events to increase sales
* Ensuring successful execution of in-store activations and business activities
