We are seeking an experienced, well-organised and proactive Restaurant & Wine Bar Manager to join Pochettino, an intimate Italian restaurant and wine bar located in Woking.
The ideal candidate will bring leadership, strong communication skills, and a passion for hospitality, wine and Italian dining culture.
This is a key role within our business you will oversee daily operations, lead the front of house team, manage suppliers, and help develop the wine and beverage offering while maintaining a high standard of service.
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily restaurant and wine bar operations
Lead, train and motivate the staff
Develop and maintain an Italian-focused wine list and beverage programme
Coordinate and deliver wine-related events and tastings
Stock control, ordering and supplier relationships
Administrative duties including invoicing, rota planning and cost awareness
Support marketing initiatives and brand promotion
Ensure an exceptional guest experience through warm, attentive service
Requirements
Proven experience in restaurant or bar management
Strong leadership, communication and organisational ability
Solid wine knowledge Italian wine experience highly valued
Ability to work evenings and weekends as required
Fluent English essential
Italian language proficiency strongly preferred
(Useful for supplier interaction, staff communication and product knowledge)

Salary & Benefits
£35,000 £38,000 / year (depending on experience)
