We have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and customer service focused Client Manager to join the expert witness department at a leading provider of psychological services in Epsom, Surrey.
Please note that you will be working from home due to Covid-19 restrictions, but you must be able to travel to the Epsom office as and when required.
About the Company
Our client supplies a diverse network of over 1000 expert psychologists to their clients, all of whom are used to working within fixed budgets, including complying with Legal Aid rates. As a dedicated Client Manager, you will be assigned to your client for the duration of their case, matching their requirements to a selection of appropriately qualified professionals.
About the role
As a Client Manager, you will work closely with and manage contacts including psychologists, psychiatrists, and key business accounts such as solicitors, local authorities, prisons, and the Crown Prosecution Service. Your goal is to ensure that assessment requests are delivered in line with client expectations and deadlines.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing and following up on enquiries and quotes (via telephone, online, email)
* Negotiating fees and deadlines with experts and clients
* Managing a caseload of approximately 25+ active cases, ensuring client requirements are met and exceeded where possible
* Building and maintaining rapport with key accounts to drive new business opportunities, including site visits
* Proactively developing new business and responding quickly to leads
* Preparing, reading, and sending confidential documents such as appointment confirmations, referral forms, and reports
* Handling admin tasks and updating internal CRM systems
* Working according to processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and legal requirements
* Escalating concerns or risks to line management to maintain client relationships and meet objectives
* Achieving sales targets and KPIs to support company goals
* Performing any other reasonable tasks as directed by your line manager
About You
To succeed as a Client Manager, you should have / be:
* Educated to A level standard
* Proficient in IT, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems
* Experience working with vulnerable individuals (preferred but not essential)
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build professional rapport
* Excellent telephone manner and prompt response to enquiries
* Effective planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills
* Attention to detail, self-motivation, flexibility, and a positive attitude
* Ability to handle confidential information sensitively
* Resilient, capable of managing priorities and working under pressure to meet deadlines
* Empathy as required
Hours and Rewards
The working hours are 9am to 5pm. The package includes:
* A salary of £25,000 per annum
* Up to £1,000 per year performance bonus
