Overview
Equans is looking for a Mobile Water Treatment Technician (Tier 2) to join our team in the North of England. The Technician will cover areas including Sheffield, Leeds, Manchester, Bradford, Huddersfield, Newcastle, Hull, Warrington, Rotherham, Carlisle and Liverpool. This is a permanent, full-time role, working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, a company vehicle and benefits package.
Responsibilities
* Represent Equans Technical Compliance Services as a Water Treatment Engineer and/or Risk Assessor to execute the self-delivery of all Water Treatment services across the North of the UK. Some staying away for work may be required.
* Conduct Temperature Monitoring, Showerhead Descale, Cold Water Storage Tank Inspections and Cleans, Cooling Tower Clean and Disinfections, TMV Servicing, and Water Sampling.
* Tier 2 responsibilities in addition to Tier 1: dosing of inhibitor and biocide, LTHW systems testing and analysis.
* Respond promptly to verbal and written requests.
* Carry out PPM service visits using appropriate tools and systems.
* Ensure all site L8 logbooks where acting as the Primary Technician are up to date and accurate.

Who are you
* City and Guilds or NVQ equivalent qualification relevant to the appropriate Tier grading
* Up-to-date knowledge of technical regulations including Water Supply Regulations/Byelaws, L8 ACOP, HSG274 and other relevant guidance
* Fault diagnosis and resolution
* Valid Driving Licence
* DBS Enhanced with Barred Lists check (must be able to pass)
