Salary: Up to GBP 32,199 plus 5K Market Force Supplement per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications)

The successful candidate will deliver outstanding teaching and assessment up to Level 3, including study programmes, adult programmes, and apprenticeships in mechanical engineering, maintenance, mechatronics, and practical machining, in both workshop and classroom environments. An enthusiastic and engaging approach will help motivate students and support their potential.
The lecturer role involves delivering excellent education and training, preparing and marking work effectively, and setting SMART targets to help students succeed. Skills and Qualifications
* Developing creative resources to inspire outstanding learning and monitoring learner progress to promote positive outcomes.
* Being an effective and motivated team player with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with colleagues and management to achieve organizational objectives.
* Holding a vocational qualification at Level 3 or above, along with a relevant teaching qualification and assessors award, or willing to work towards these.
* Ability to bring the subject to life through practical, theoretical, and digital methods to engage learners and equip them with essential skills and knowledge.
Department Info
You will work within the curriculum team at the college, closely collaborating with Curriculum Team Leaders and being line managed by the Curriculum Manager. You will also work with Technicians, Personal Development Coordinators, Work Placement Officers, and other departments such as examinations and curriculum administration.
