SEN Teaching Assistant
Milk Education are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant who is eager to hit the ground running within a new, exciting role based in Rotherham.
You will be working at a 3-form entry primary school with a friendly headteacher who is looking for a driven individual who can come in and hit the ground running supporting pupils within the classroom who have SEN, including ASC, ADHD and SEMH.
This is an exciting role for a new or experienced educator to join a fantastic school to support pupils in reaching their potential!
What You’ll Be Doing in the Role:
1. Assisting the Teacher to plan, prepare and deliver lessons
2. Work on a 1:1/small group basis with pupils who have SEN
3. Track and report pupils’ progress and report back to SLT/Teachers/parents/carers
4. Assist with other admin tasks and prepare learning equipment
Essential Qualifications:
5. Have experience working with children, particularly SEN experience
6. Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills
7. Holds a transferrable degree
8. Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the classroom teacher
