Assistant Lounge Manager, required for our client, a prestigious hotel located in the Eastbourne area.

As Assistant Lounge Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the shift including the serving of Afternoon Tea and overseeing Room Service.

As Assistant Lounge Manager, key responsibilities include:

* Assist in the absence of the Lounge Manager

* Lead and motivate the team to ensure that all daily duties are carried out

* Meeting and greeting guests, controlling the seating plan and taking orders in the lounge and room service

* Conduct team briefings and organise the team for daily business

* To assist in training of team members

* To be able to liaise with the kitchen team and other departments to ensure all information is communicated

* To provide the utmost standard of service for guests

* This role is a full-time position, working 40hrs per week five days over seven, which will include evenings, weekends, bank holidays so flexibility is required

Key Skills for this role include:

* Possess a welcoming personality to make the guest experience something to remember

* Have excellent English language skills, verbal and written.

* Ability to multi task and remain calm under pressure

* Physically fit as lifting and carrying is required

* Previous supervisory experience desired

* Would suit someone who has experience of working in Restaurant or Lounge

The salary for Assistant Lounge Manager is given as COMPETITIVE – basic salary for a 40 hour week, plus a share of the service charge which will vary. Additional company benefits available with this role also.
