The role
* Managing a varied caseload of private family law matters
* Handling divorce and separation cases from initial instruction through to conclusion
* Advising on and progressing financial settlements following divorce
* Managing private Children Act proceedings
* Conducting client consultations and providing clear, practical and sensitive legal advice
* Drafting correspondence and legal documentation to a high standard
* Representing clients where required
* Maintaining efficient case management while delivering excellent client care
* Taking ownership of networking and supporting marketing initiatives to grow the family department
* Offered on either an employed or consultant basis

You
* Qualified Solicitor with a current practising certificate or a Legal Executive
* Solid experience in private family law, particularly divorce and financial remedy work
* Confident managing your own caseload with minimal supervision
* Strong communication skills with a natural ability to build rapport and trust with clients
* Well organised with good analytical and problem-solving skills
* Comfortable working independently while contributing positively to a team environment
* Willing to engage in networking and business development activities
