Are you passionate about supporting secondary school students to reach their full potential? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work in secondary schools across the Wellingborough area.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support teachers and help students with their learning and development in a vibrant secondary school environment.
Key responsibilities:
Supporting teachers in delivering lessons and activities across a range of subjects
Assisting individual students or small groups with learning tasks and study skills
Helping to manage behaviour and maintain a positive and safe classroom environment
Supporting students with additional needs, including Special Educational Needs (SEN) and English as an Additional Language (EAL)
Assisting with administrative and organisational tasks within the classroom
What we're looking for:
Experience working with secondary school-aged students preferred
Patient, approachable, and confident communication skills
Ability to engage and motivate young people
Flexible and adaptable to different classroom settings and subject areas
Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to apply)
