Paediatric Occupational Therapist - Barking Hybrid
Location: Barking & Dagenham (Hybrid with onsite visits)
Rate: PO2 grade (competitive)
Hours: 35 per week (Mon-Fri)
Contract: 12-month assignment
Caseload: Children (Paediatric)
Responsibilities
* Complete paediatric OT assessments and develop tailored intervention plans.
* Recommend and arrange adaptations, assistive technology, and specialist equipment.
* Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, schools, and families.
* Ensure compliance with statutory frameworks and maintain accurate case records.
Essential Requirements
* Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
* Relevant experience in social services and paediatric OT practice.
* Strong knowledge of housing adaptations, moving & handling, and risk assessments.
Working Arrangements
Hybrid model: office-based and home working with onsite visits.
IT equipment provided (collection from Barking Town Hall required).
