The Stores Supervisor is a key role responsible for overseeing a team of Logistics workers, ensuring the seamless and efficient operation of the inventory control area and the Goods In and Dispatch area. This leadership position requires a detail-oriented professional with robust leadership skills and an in-depth understanding of Logistics processes. The mission for this role is to ensure all stock is correctly located, accounted for and responsible for the stock control of all items received into the business. The Stores Supervisor is responsible for the accurate recording of all stock, updating the SQCDP Board on a daily basis role and to ensure all parts are received, transactions completed, and items put away in a timely manner.
The individual is also responsible for parts from time of receipt until time of put away in the correct locations. The Goods in and Dispatch Team Leader is also responsible for the accurate and prompt issue of parts to customers and for the control of PP stock located in bulk, FG and container locations.
