This leading engineering and maintenance provider is looking to recruit an experienced Payroll Advisor for a period of 6 months .
Your new role
1. Process a weekly payroll from start to finish across multiple sites and within the designated timeframe
2. Process pay in accordance with various National Agreements
3. Set up and pay new starters
4. Process leavers and applicable termination payments
5. Calculate Redundancy payments
6. Calculate and pay SMP, SPP, SSP and Occupational sick pay
7. Liaise with sites and other departments to ensuremunication lines are clear and deadlines are met
8. Deal promptly and professionally with payroll queries
9. Produce reports for various departments across the business
10. Maintain records and filing to a high standard
11. Maintain up to date knowledge of payroll and pension legislation
12. Follow and enforce implemented payroll policy, processes and procedures
13. Liaise with third parties Pension providers, HMRC and Courts
What you'll need to succeed
14. Minimum of 2 years payroll experience in a multi site, multi contractual environment
15. Good working knowledge of Microsoft office including intermediate excel skills
16. Up to date knowledge of payroll and pension legislation and HMRC reporting requirements
17. Recognised CIPP payroll qualification would be desirable but not essential
