About the Team and Role
The Head of Advisory Teaching holds a key leadership position within the local authority, overseeing a team of advisory teachers who provide specialist support to schools, with a strong focus on special educational needs (SEN) and inclusion.
The aim is to improve teaching and learning outcomes for children and young people across Gloucestershire. The role involves strategic leadership, managing a team of advisory teachers and sensory impairment specialists, and collaboration with schools, parents, and local agencies.
About You
We are looking for a flexible, creative, and solution-focused qualified teacher with leadership and management experience. You will be eager to apply your knowledge of education, SEN, and leadership to create meaningful change and support positive outcomes for young people and their families.
