Locum Consultant in Stroke Medicine – North Yorkshire – at Harrogate District Hospital (Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust).
Key Details
* Rate: £100-120 per hour
* Shifts: Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00
* Location: Harrogate District Hospital
Responsibilities
Provide acute and rehabilitation care for stroke patients, coordinate with vascular surgeons, neurosurgeons and interventional neuroradiologists, refer for surgery and clot retrieval therapy, support junior doctors in clinical and educational activities.
Qualifications – Essential
* MBChB (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) or equivalent.
* GMC Specialist registered Doctor with full licence.
* Hold CCT or CESR at time of interview or within six months, or be within six months of CCT or CESR (CP) at interview.
* Relevant consultant level experience or references.
* Evidence of Right to Work in the UK.
* Pass enhanced DBS background check.
Qualifications – Desirable
* CCT in Stroke Medicine and/or General Medicine (or within six months of achieving it).
